Re-Opening!!

Here are a few pics from our re-opening party last week. We are so excited about our new permanent shop in the Adelaide Arcade Balcony level!!

Being in the city is great, we have been meeting so many new people and even getting some new regulars popping in every few days! The vibe is just great and we have lovely big windows for window shopping and checking out the outfit of the day on the mannequin. Hope you can pop in for a look soon :-)

We've Moved!!

The Loft Upstairs has moved! We are now located in Charles Street Plaza in the City.

Glomesh love!

Hi there!
Just a quick update, we've been very busy, as usual!
We have a cute collection of genuine Glomesh bags in at the moment, as well as a lot of interesting vintage pieces that have just come in.

I think they are super cute and collectable (I couldn't resist buying one for myself!) Do you love Glomesh??

This is my latest outfit obsession...I think it really mixes modern with vintage perfectly!

Clothes and decorations!

Wow, things at the Loft have been so busy! We have so much new stuff in, on the weekend I picked up a big collection of shoes and in the last few days we have had three big deliveries of summer clothes. It has been a real mixed bag of vintage clothing, including some amazing 80's dresses and some great light weight pants, as well as some great modern pieces by Wish, Cooper St, Angel Wings and some sweet Armani jeans.
And to top off such a busy week, today I started decorating the shop for Christmas. So the shop is looking great and very full, and we will be very busy tomorrow steaming and tagging the new stock.

Busy busy...

Hello!

I may have been a bit quiet in cyber space lately, but I have been very busy behind the scenes, trust me! There are lots of exciting things on the horizon for The Loft upstairs. At the moment I am working on all new signage/logo/business cards etc. I'm trying to inject some colour. Unfortunately I am no photoshop wiz and it is taking me ages!! But I'm hoping to get there in the end :-) Also lots of new stock in this week!

Todays outfit of the day is this little gem...

Perfect for this weather we are having: boots for walking in the rain, silky lightweight skirt and sheer beaded top great for the humidity. What do you think?

Adventures on a cold day...

This lovely public holiday Monday we had an adventure with our friend and photographer Thomas Tu! With a mixture of winter glamour and street chic we took to the streets around North Adelaide for our shoot. It was very cold so many thanks to our gorgeous model for braving the icy weather to look fabulous!

Fashion Parade!

The Loft is a proud sponsor of the Uni Sa Event Management Fashion Parade, being held Tues 7th June outside Aroma Cafe in Fenn Place, City East. The event is free and The Loft has provided clothing for the parade. So see you there at 2pm!
